About the event

Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the Pooh is a beloved children's character created by A.A. Milne. The stories revolve around Pooh, a friendly and somewhat bumbling bear, and his adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with his friends. Some of the key characters include:

Winnie-the-Pooh is a fictional, anthropomorphic teddy bear created by the English author A. A. Milne and the English illustrator E. H. Shepard. Pooh first appeared in a children's story commissioned for Christmas Eve 1925. He was inspired by a toy that Milne had bought for his son (Christopher Robin) and a bear named Winnie they had seen at London Zoo.

Pooh is described as being stuffed with fluff and “a bear of very little brain”. He is generally kind and friendly towards everyone; he is also very childlike and likeable. Pooh can be very courageous in tough times and is consulted when trouble occurs.
